Halloween Austin, Texas
Six horror worlds. No cables, no jump-scare volunteer in a mask. Just you, your group, and whatever is waiting in the next room.
Why this is different
Every scary game you have played happened on the other side of a screen. Thumbs on a controller, your character taking the hits, you safe on the couch.
Free-roam VR takes the screen away. You walk an arena of over 1,600 square feet untethered, on your own two feet, with your whole group inside the same world at the same time. When the house decides to separate you, it actually can.
That is the part people are not ready for. The sound comes from behind you because something is behind you. You look down a corridor because you chose to. Nobody is following a script, and there is no controller to put down.
The lineup
Every one of these is on the floor right now. Pick the one that fits your group's nerve, or book two and find out who taps out first.
01
Dare to enter. Hope to escape.
Full-body, ultra-immersive terror across three escalating chapters. You go in as a group, but staying together is another story. The house whispers, twists, and does everything it can to get you alone.
02
Find the cure. Save humankind.
The co-op zombie shooter that started it all. You are guarding the only cure when the lab is infiltrated. Fend off flesh-hungry hordes, creep through abandoned hospitals, shoot your way out of swampy basements, and cross death-defying heights.
03
The apocalypse found the food court.
The infection has a new home. Ridgewater mall, crawling wall to wall with mutated infected. Bigger, faster and far more intense than the first. It is havoc, it is mayhem, and it is the newest horror title on our floor.
04
Zombies, neon lights, and a leaderboard.
Part zombie survival, part game show, all competition. Wave after wave of the undead while the presenter's voice booms around the arena and your group fights over the highest score. Fighting zombies in neon is a lot more fun than meeting them in the dark.
05
Uncover the dark secrets of a haunted mansion.
Solve the puzzles, break the curse, and escape with your lives. Puzzle-led instead of gunfire-led, which makes it the easiest sell to a group that is not sure it wants a full scare. A full hour in the Adventure Arena.

06
Face your fears in horrifying sight and sound.
Our only Nightmare-difficulty escape room, and the one people talk about on the way out. Work together to stop an extraterrestrial outbreak before it gets out of the building. If Manor of Escape is the warm-up, this is the one you book second.

Pick your level
Not everyone in the group wants the same night. Slide to the nerve level you are actually booking for.
Book one level below your bravest person. The night goes better when nobody spends it in the lobby, and the brave one still gets their scare.
Level 4 Tense
Real tension, real stakes, but you are armed and you are together. The hospital gets dark and the basements get worse, and your group has a job to do the whole way through. The classic first horror booking.
Make a night of it
Nobody books horror and leaves after one. About 40 percent of our Zero Latency players go straight into a second game, either on the adrenaline of the first or with friends they dragged back.
Dread first, then the release valve. Walk the house, then go loud in the neon arena so everyone leaves laughing instead of checking the back seat.
The full zombie arc. Start where the infection began, then find out what it turned into once it reached the mall.
Shoot your way through Outbreak, then slow it right down and think your way out of Manor of Escape. Two completely different kinds of pressure in one visit.
The rest of the venue
Horror is six titles out of a much bigger building. If half your group taps out, the other half of the night is already here.
Far Cry VR, Sol Raiders, Singularity, Space Marine VR, Space Marine: Threat Lethal, Cyberpunk 2077, Engineerium and Jumanji. Same arena, same free-roam, nothing chasing you.
See all gamesFrom Trivial to Hard. Ninja Trials, Dragon Tower, Greenium, Time Travel Paradox, Cyberscape, The Parvus Box, The B-Block Breakout, Pirates Plague, Space Station Tiberia, Depths of Osiris and Runaway Train.
See all escape roomsShort, family-friendly titles you can stack inside a one-hour pass. Party Playland, Dragonfall, Kraken Island, Temple Quest, Cops vs Robbers and more, picked from an interactive arcade lobby.
See the Family ZoneReal Steel axe throwing next door at Axe Force, and the RC Yard mini construction zone. The obvious second half of a group night that started in VR.

Before you book
It depends entirely which title you book, which is the point of having six. Manor of Escape is a puzzle-led escape room and the mildest of the set. Undead Arena is neon, competitive and closer to funny than frightening. Outbreak and Outbreak 2: Mall Mayhem are rated Extreme intensity, but you are armed and together the whole way through. Alien Infection is our only Nightmare-difficulty escape room. Haunted is built to genuinely unsettle you. Use the fear scale above and book to the least brave person in your group.
None. A game master gears your group up, walks you through the controls before you go in, and stays with you the whole session. First-timers play alongside regulars every day. If your group is not sure what to pick, tell us on arrival and we will recommend one.
Up to 8 people in the same free-roam world at once for Haunted, Outbreak, Outbreak 2: Mall Mayhem and Undead Arena, in an arena of over 1,600 square feet. The VR escape rooms, Manor of Escape and Alien Infection, run 2 to 5 players in the Adventure Arena. Larger groups get split across sessions, and group rates start at 4 players and go up to 24.
Age limits vary by title, and the horror lineup is the most intense end of our catalog. Confirm the minimum age for the specific experience when you book, or call us on (512) 982-4307 and we will tell you which titles suit your group. If you are bringing younger kids, the Family Zone lineup is the better fit.
No cables, no backpack, no suit. You wear a headset and a rifle controller and move freely on your own feet. Wear something you can move in and closed-toe shoes. People do work up a sweat, which comes up in reviews more often than you would think.
Yes, and most horror groups do. Two titles back to back is the standard Halloween booking, and about 40 percent of our Zero Latency players go straight into a second game. You can also pair a Zero Latency game with a VR escape room in the same visit.
We are open 7 days a week. Monday to Thursday 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Friday 12:00pm to 11:30pm, Saturday 11:00am to midnight, and Sunday 12:00pm to 10:00pm. Halloween weekend slots go early, so reserve rather than walking in. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
